Thanksgiving Break 2011

I have had such an awesome Thanksgiving break! Of course, I'm extremely sad that it's almost over, but here's what I've been up to the last few days.........

Tuesday

I had school Monday and Tuesday, but after school on Tuesday, some of my friends and I went to Target. One of my friends isn't feeling too well, so we picked up some things for her!

That night I wrapped up all of her stuff real cute!

And I'm just adding in this picture I took on Tuesday night of Coco because I think it's too cute not to!

Wednesday

Some of my friends spent the night on Tuesday so we could get up, visit my friend, and give her our present. While we were visiting, my friend painted this picture. It's a total inside joke, but I wanted to add it in here anyway.

That night my family put up all of our Christmas decorations, except our tree. I'm loving how our whole house looks like Christmas now :)

Thursday - Thanksgiving!

Wow, I can't believe another Thanksgiving has come and gone! I woke up on Thursday, had breakfast with my family, and watched the Parade.

Around 4 we left to have Thanksgiving dinner with my mom's side of the family. We alternate every other year between having Thanksgiving dinner with my mom's side or my dad's side. When it's our year to go with my mom's side, we always go out to eat, so that's what we did this year!

After dinner we headed over to my grandma's house on my dad's side of the family for some dessert and just to see all of my family.

Friday

My family woke up at 4 to go Black Friday shopping. It worked out good because we were able to avoid some of the crowds since a lot of places opened at midnight, but we still got a lot of good deals.

My best find was a pair of pearl earrings that were originally $150 that I ended up getting for $35. Yay! I thought the box they came in was absolutely adorable too!

I also got a $109 cashmere sweater for about $28. I LOVE Black Friday shopping!

That night I went to O'Charley's with my friends for dinner, and then they came back to my house to watch some movies. :)

Saturday

Saturday night I went to the mall with my mom (which we seem to do every weekend - ha!). We were on a mission to get a dress for me for my Christmas Dance. We were off to a rough start in the beginning, but I ended up finding one I loved at White House Black Market. I seriously love that store - I always find cute dresses there.

I got some cute new shoes at Macy's too!

Today's been a pretty laid-back day. I'm just trying to get a lot of stuff done today. The sound of my alarm clock tomorrow at 6:05 is not going to be good. I really don't want to have to face reality tomorrow :(
