Prom 2012

I can't believe that I actually went to prom on Friday night! I feel like prom is something you hear about all the time, and you always look forward to it, and now I can say I've been to prom!

I can also say I now understand what all the hype is about it. I'd definitely say it was the best school dance I've ever gone to. It was just SO much fun!

So here's my recap because I don't ever want to forget anything!

On Friday I came home from school and started getting ready! My mom took some pictures of me before I left. This one's my favorite.

Then I headed over my friend Tina's house to get some group pictures taken. So fun!

We all went out to dinner at a super fancy Italian restaurant called Primavista. It was SO delicious! It overlooks the city too, which I thought was pretty.

Even though it was pretty cold and windy, we had to get a few pictures outside Primavista before we left :)

Then it was time to head to prom! We were actually some of the first people there. Our prom was at Paul Brown Stadium, which is the Bengals stadium. I LOVED it there. The place was really neat and pretty. There was a wall of windows that overlooked the city too. These pictures aren't the best, but they give you a little feel for how the place was set up.

I loved how the dance floor was carpeted too - it was a lot easier on your feet, and your feet didn't get as dirty!

Our theme was Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera.

One of the really cool things they had at prom was a photo booth! They had a big table of crazy props, and it was so fun getting pictures taken in there. Since we got there early, we did the photo booth right away to avoid the line! I'll have to post the pictures from there later when I get them. They were so funny though!

Now just be ready for picture overload. I'm just going to post the rest of the pictures I have with all of my friends!

As we were leaving, my friends and I were already talking about how much we can't wait until next year's prom. I think that's a sure sign that this year's prom was a success!

I went to an after prom too at my friend Erin's house. I was completely exhausted though, so I fell asleep kind of early - ha! I just couldn't stay awake any longer.

Looking back on these pictures, I seriously feel so blessed to have had such a great time with great friends!
